Nine months ago, I agreed to recommence the production of the monthly Hinxton News after a two-year break. The idea was to seek an editorial partner who would gradually take over. Unfortunately, nobody has stepped up, but I have no appetite to carry on beyond the issue due in July.

I have informed the Parish Clerk of my decision. The topic will no doubt come up in a Council meeting but there is still time for a handover. Even if you are mildly tempted, please contact me and all will be explained. Believe me, it is not as daunting as it may appear, and it is possible to gradually stamp your own identity onto an existing simple format.
