Advance Notice of Coaches Using the Back Gates in New Road 

Message from the Wellcome Trust:

The Campus is hosting a large conference on 16th and 17th April and have asked if the Parish Council would have any concerns about them using the back gate at New Road  to assist with coach drop offs and pick ups.  They don’t normally use this gate for vehicles but are expecting a large number of guests by coach (so all arriving at the same time) for this particular event and its likely to cause delays if only using the main entrance.

The conference centre will have a team in place on both days to manage logistics and any traffic on the road as the buses enter and leave (see timings below).

16th April – Drop off at Hinxton Hall between 8 -8.30am – 5 coaches

16th April – Pick up at Hinxton Hall between 6 -6.30pm – 5 coaches

17th April – Drop off at Hinxton Hall between 7.45 – 8:15am – 5 coaches

17th April – Pick up at Hinxton Hall at 2.30pm – 2 coaches (tbc)
