Science & Sport Fun Day
Featuring the Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay

Saturday 9 July from 12:30pm to 7:30pm
Wellcome Genome Campus, Hinxton, CB10 1SA

Join us for a celebration of science and sport, and to welcome the Queen’s Baton Relay ahead of the
2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. On completion of its route, the baton will have
travelled 90,000 miles and visited 72 nations and territories.

By kind invitation of Jane and David Chater, the annual Friends of Hinxton Church Garden Evening will be held at The Oak House, Hinxton, at 6.30 p.m. on Friday 22nd July 2022. The Friends of Hinxton Church is the charity established to help fund maintenance and repairs to our outstanding medieval church and its churchyard. Everyone is welcome, especially our newcomers. Tickets, which will include a glass of wine and finger food, are priced at £10 each, family ticket £25. As usual, there will also be a generous raffle! Contributions of finger food for all to share would be gratefully received - thank you!

The Ann Howsden Charity was established in 1632 for the benefit of local residents in the Parish of Hinxton who might be suffering hardship or distress. 

Perhaps your circumstances have changed in recent months, particularly with Coronavirus causing so much uncertainty.  If so, Trustees would like to emphasise their willingness to consider applications of financial support.
